One company · one month · one complete close

Why the bakery is a serious bookkeeping exercise

A family bakery combines cash and card sales, inventory, supplier credit, payroll, customer deposits, equipment, borrowing and month-end adjustments in a business that is easy to picture. Every generated amount belongs to a balanced authoritative ledger, while the visible trial balance and statements are calculated from the learner's own entries.

How event packs change the month

Normal March establishes the operating baseline. County Fair Week adds a temporary sales channel, additional stock, overtime, card settlement and spoilage. The Regional Baking Challenge adds entry, ingredient and travel costs plus separately classified prize income. The same simulation code always recreates the same assignment.

How this can grow into verified experience

This MVP stores work locally and issues a practice report. A future assessed version can place the same deterministic company engine behind authenticated assignments, controlled completion windows, immutable evidence and identity verification. Free practice must remain distinct from paid certification.
